How PZU works with startups

PZU Ready for Startups, founded in 2017, has reviewed more than 7,000 ideas over its first seven years; about 350 went through detailed business, legal and technical validation, 77 reached a pilot, and 49 were rolled out into PZU's operations. Close to 40% of piloted projects still end at that stage, which PZU treats as part of a deliberate experimental, learning-by-doing culture. The implemented projects have brought PZU more than 200 million zloty in cumulative benefit and involve partner startups from 12 countries, from the UK and the US to Kazakhstan; the largest share, 16 of the 49, improved claims and benefits handling, including Poland's first AI-based motor claims tool, built with a British startup.
