How BP works with startups
bp Collaborate is BP's open innovation platform inviting startups and technology providers to submit proof-of-concept and pilot solutions to live campaigns tied to specific BP business units, such as hydrogen and offshore wind. Submissions are reviewed and vetted on a rolling basis, with selected solutions co-created and tested through real-world integration with BP operations. This sits apart from BP Ventures, which is a pure investment arm and does not itself offer a collaboration route.
