About Airbus
Airbus is a global aerospace and defense company that designs, manufactures and delivers commercial aircraft, helicopters, and space and defense systems.
How Airbus works with startups
Airbus Scale is Airbus's innovation unit, launched in November 2021, combining corporate innovation, startup engagement and company building, and building on seven years of experience from the Airbus BizLab accelerator network. In one direction it develops in-house ideas into new co-funded businesses, potentially spinning them off; in the other it sources and partners with later-stage external startups to mature technology aligned with Airbus's zero-emissions ambition.
