About Shell

Shell is a global energy company working across oil, gas and low-carbon energy, and pursuing the shift to a lower-carbon energy system.

How Shell works with startups

Shell GameChanger works with start-ups on unproven, early-stage ideas that could shape the future of energy. The team provides support, expertise and seed funding, while start-ups keep full independence over their own decisions, and Shell continuously scouts for new companies to collaborate with. Start-ups can submit a solution at any time. Shell also runs the New Energy Challenge, an annual open-innovation competition for energy start-ups and scaleups, jointly organised with Rockstart, Unknown Group and YES!Delft.
