How Continental works with startups

Co-pace is Continental's start-up programme, launched in 2017 with three parts. The Cooperation Program pre-selects and analyses external start-ups, connects them to the right Continental business unit, and verifies whether their product works in Continental's applications, active across ecosystems from Silicon Valley to Israel, Europe and Asia. An internal Incubator runs a parallel track for employee ideas, and a Corporate Venture Capital arm invests directly in young companies. The programme's first spin-off, PassiveBolt, launched in 2019.
