How Denso Corporation works with startups
Denso's Cloud Services R&D Division runs an open-innovation scheme that pairs Denso's sensing, robotics and data technologies with external partner companies to build new services beyond mobility, aimed at regional and quality-of-life challenges. It runs recruitment rounds roughly three times a year, selecting partner companies for joint demonstration experiments (PoCs) with a view to commercialization. Denso also runs parallel regional startup scouting (e.g. an Israel innovation lab since 2018) that has produced PoCs and joint development projects with startups.
