ZER01NE combines corporate venture capital and open innovation, running since 2018 across four parts. Company Builder incubates ideas from Hyundai's own employees and has spun off 40 independent companies. The Accelerator connects external start-ups directly with Hyundai Motor Group teams, building a network of more than 180 start-up cohorts and 130 collaborative projects across 150 business units in 11 group affiliates. ZER01NE Fund and Hyundai CRADLE add direct investment, with Fund III opened in 2025 with $91m for early-stage start-ups.
