How Iberdrola works with startups
PERSEO is Iberdrola's open innovation programme (since 2008) that runs NewTech Challenges (about 6 a year) and around 25 pilot/Proof-of-Concept projects a year with startups directly inside Iberdrola's generation, distribution and demand businesses, alongside minority venture investments. Startups can submit ideas via PERSEO's contact channel and, if selected, test technology in real Iberdrola infrastructure through a pilot or challenge before any investment is considered.
