How Verizon works with startups
Verizon's own accelerator runs twice-yearly cohorts of 5-7 seed/Series A startups over 16 weeks, each cohort tied to a social-impact theme (Climate Justice 2021, Disability Innovation 2022, Health Equity 2023). Selected startups get $50,000 in non-dilutive funding, technology coaching, expert mentorship and connections to Verizon partners, but no guaranteed commercial/procurement route.
