VELUX is a founding member of a Danish multi-corporate startup accelerator consortium launched in 2019 alongside other large Danish companies and foundations, supporting construction- and sustainability-focused startups with mentorship and business guidance rather than direct purchasing. As of the programme's most recent reported results (Dec 2021), 39 startups had gone through the consortium, raising over DKK 199 million, and VELUX's own leadership credited the experience with shaping how the company engages with startups.
