How Bord na Móna works with startups

Accelerate Green runs two annual tracks, START for early-stage startups and GROW for scaling SMEs, focused on climate and sustainability. Participants get mentoring, market access and business development sessions with senior Bord na Móna leaders, and some alumni go on to pilot projects with Bord na Móna's own operations, such as fleet electrification. The 2026 Grow cohort intake has already closed, continuing a programme running since 2022.
