How Rio Tinto works with startups

Rio Tinto runs two venture tracks: an accelerator built with Founders Factory for pre-seed and seed startups, and a Ventures fund for Series A and B companies. The accelerator selects two cohorts of six startups a year for a four-month program combining commercial and technical support, with graduates able to move on to the Ventures fund for later-stage backing.
